Welles has leveraged the CIO and CFO position at emerging technology and service companies to execute successful strategies in high growth situations. He has a proven ability to build organizations and scale operations to serve a broad range of enterprise needs, including technology strategy, capital raising, human resource and management information systems, investor relations, accounting and enterprise risk management as well as domestic and international corporate financial planning and analysis.
Since leaving commercial banking 15 years ago Mr. Hatch has managed reorganizations, recapitalizations, strategic deal negotiations and profitable exits as CFO for a number of expansion stage companies in the Boston area. He was recently named to the Salesforce Foundation CIO Council.
Hatch holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.B.A. in international business finance from The George Washington University. He also has studied overseas, including schools in China, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
Welles has served on public and private company boards and maintains an active involvement with a variety of community service organizations. He is a Trustee of the Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund, a member of the Society for Information Management and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
